Maurizio Luise Obituary Washington D.C. Death, Maryland Native & Former Positano Ristorante Italiano Manager has Died

It is with profound sadness that we share the sudden passing of Maurizio Luise on November 8, 2025. A devoted husband, loving father, and cherished friend, Maurizio leaves an immeasurable void in the hearts of all who knew him.

A Maryland native, Maurizio built a respected career in the hospitality industry, serving as Manager at Positano Ristorante Italiano and formerly as a server at La Ferme Restaurant. Known for his warmth, professionalism, and genuine care for colleagues and patrons, he left a lasting impression on everyone he encountered.

Maurizio’s greatest joy was his family. He and his beloved wife, Maria (Oliverio), shared a life filled with love, laughter, and devotion to their four children: Scarlett (11), Jude (7), Bibiana (4), and Gianluca (1). Whether cheering on the Capitals and Redskins, sharing meals, or enjoying simple moments in the yard, Maurizio treasured every moment with his family. His infectious laughter, vibrant energy, and steadfast commitment made him the heart of his household.

His sudden passing has deeply impacted the family, both emotionally and practically. The Luise family appreciates all thoughts, prayers, and support during this heartbreaking time. May Maurizio rest in peace, and may his memory bring comfort to all who loved him.
